Amerivespa is an annual scooter rally that takes place in cities across the United States.  The 2014 event occurred in New Orleans, Louisiana (NOLA) and two members of the Nutcase team, Shari and Meghan, headed on down to the Big Easy to unveil the new Nutcase Helmets Moto line.  Hundreds of scooter enthusiasts scooted their way to the heart of NOLA for a weekend of riding, dancing and merriment.

The kind people at Big Easy Scooters hooked Nutcase up with a lovely Genuine Little Buddy Scooter.  Shari drove, with Meghan as her passenger.

The hardworking scooter took Nutcase all over the great city of New Orleans:  From dancing zydeco at the Rock & Bowl, to touring NOLA’s classic cemeteries with the New Orleans Scooter Girls, to riding across the longest bridge over water in the world with the Voodoo Scooter Club and to heading to the Lower 9th Ward to visit the Living Museum.

The scooter community of NOLA was incredibly hospitable and fun, to boot.  And we’re happy to say the people of Amerivespa 2014 fell in love with Nutcase Moto.

We’ve compiled some video clips and photos into a short film so that Nutcase fans everywhere can get a feel of what a joyful thing it can be to get riders of scooters from around the United States (whether they ride Vespas, Genuines or anything in between) to gather for a weekend of good ol’ fashioned scooter fun.
